Continue along the N90

Enter Val Thorens and continue along the D117 for 210 metres
Turn right onto Rue du Soleil

Where can I park my vehicle?

The Val Thorens resort is semi-pedestrianised and only drop-offs are permitted. Upon arrival, you can drop off your luggage and passengers in front of the hotel, then proceed to your car park.

There are several car parks available, including car park P2, which is the closest to the hotel. To reserve your parking space, please do so online at https://www.valthoparc.fr/ at least 7 days before your arrival. Without a reservation, you can go to the car park reception or the automatic pay stations, but there is no guarantee that you will find a space.

Car parks P0, P1 and P2 are located in the heart of the resort and offer several spaces with charging stations for electric vehicles.

Car parks P3 and P4 are located outside the resort, with free shuttle buses to the centre.

Does the hotel have a transfer service?

We can arrange your private/shared transfer to/from Lyon and Geneva airports through our selection of reliable and efficient service providers. Please contact us at reception@hotelmarielle.com for more information.

Will my room be cleaned during my stay?

Your rooms will be cleaned every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  If you would like the service at a more specific time, we are available at the hotel reception to help you organise your stay!

Do the rooms have safes?

There is a safe in each of our rooms, protected by a secret code. Please place your valuables in your safe before leaving your room.

Which payment methods do you accept?

You can pay by Visa, AMEX, Eurocard, Mastercard, holiday vouchers or cash.

Does the hotel accept holiday vouchers?

Yes, we accept holiday vouchers but only on-site, at the reception. You cannot use holiday vouchers to pay the deposit.

Is smoking/vaping allowed at the hotel?

The entire hotel is non-smoking (including the common areas, the terrace, the rooms and the balconies). Smoking risks a fine of €150.

What other amenities does the hotel offer?

Free WiFi (in the rooms and common areas), TV with free video on demand (VoD) in all rooms, wellness centre with massages, ski room with private lockers, business centre with meeting rooms, kids’ play area (foosball, arcade and other games, TV, etc.), restaurant & bar, and terrace overlooking the snow front.

What time is check-in?

All our rooms are available from 4pm.
Depending on availability, early check-in may be possible. Please contact reception in advance if you wish to arrive earlier. However, to be sure of having your room before 4pm, we recommend booking the previous night.
If early check-in before 4 p.m. is not possible, you can leave your luggage in our luggage room and enjoy the hotel's facilities while you wait: bar, spa, restaurant as soon as you receive your key.
We also provide drinks (water/tea/coffee), Wi-Fi and a shower room.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is at 11 a.m. at the latest.
If you wish to keep your room after 11 a.m., please contact reception the day before your departure, or book the room for an additional night.
After checking out, you can still store your luggage in the luggage room and enjoy your last day in Val Thorens. A shower room is also available for your use.

Does the hotel have a luggage room?

Yes. All of the hotel’s guests can use our luggage room before check-in or after check-out.

How do I get to the hotel?

By car: 327 rue du Soleil, 73440 Val Thorens, France
There is no car park at the hotel. The nearest car park is P2. Before arrival, book your parking space at valthoparc.fr.‍

By train:
Val Thorens ski resort is not accessible by train. The nearest train station is Gare de Moûtiers - Salins - Brides-les-Bains (37 km away).
Regular shuttles to Val Thorens. Private and shared shuttles to the hotel from Moûtiers, Lyon, Chambéry and Albertville.

By bus: Hotel Marielle provides a hotel shuttle between 8 am and 8 pm. Contact us for more information.
Free shuttles are available within Val Thorens.

By plane:
- Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport: 183 km
- Genève-Cointrin airport: 159 km
- Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc airport: 112 km
- Grenoble airport: 187 km
Regular buses provide connections between the airports and Val Thorens. Private and shared shuttles to the hotel from Lyon, Geneva and Chambéry.

How do I get to the different ski areas?

The hotel is located on the snow front so you can get to the 3 Vallées and Val Thorens-Orelle ski fields by ski.

Does Val Thorens resort offer a shuttle service?

Val Thorens ski resort offers a shuttle service during the winter season. Shuttles run all day and transport you between the centre of Val Thorens and the Belleville ski field’s neighbouring resorts*.
This is a free shuttle service.

Bus lines between Val Thorens and Moutiers run regularly in winter.

Can I buy ski passes at the hotel?

You can buy ski passes at the hotel reception*.
You can buy your ski passes for 3 Vallées ski fields and Val Thorens-Orelle ski fields.

*5% service fee applies.

Can I hire/buy ski gear at the hotel?

SkiShop by Skiset is located at the hotel’s entrance and makes it easy for you to buy or hire your equipment.
You can even book equipment online through our website to enjoy exclusive discounts.

Can I store my ski gear at the hotel?

A ski room with private lockers is available for free at the hotel.

What time is breakfast?

The breakfast buffet is available every morning from 7:00 to 10:00. We do not offer room service.

Breakfast is included in the room price.

What time is the restaurant open?

For lunch:
Our restaurant is open from 12 to 2:30 pm and offers two dining options:

- Le M restaurant with a casual fine dining menu reintroducing mountain flavours. Make a reservation.
- Le M Gourmet Snack (until 3 pm) with Cheese burger, croque truffe, hot cog and fries, poke bowls and many more delicious treats. From 3pm, the Gourmet Snack offers crêpes and waffles.

For dinner:
Our restaurant is open from 6:30 to 9 pm, serving a buffet with a variety of products.

What time is the bar open?

Our bar is open daily from 10 am to 11:30 pm.

The wellness centre is free to enter between 10 am and 8 pm for all hotel guests with no age limits.

‍The spa is a dedicated wellness and relaxation area. Please respect the quiet nature of this space. Remember to bring your swimsuit/trunks. You can book treatments in advance here.
For hygiene reasons, we recommend short swimsuits/trunks.
